Description: The availability of low-cost solar energy has enabled the advancement and deployment of hydrogen from water electrolysis. This panel will discuss the Pacific NW's efforts to decarbonize through electrolytic hydrogen and a 100% renewable energy grid. Participants will cover the potential of green hydrogen and obstacles to deployment in the region, as highlighted in the Oregon Clean Energy Pathways Analysis. It will include an overview of the Pacific NW Renewable Hydrogen Action Plan and commercial plans in OR and WA.
